ideas for dinner -- having friends over
I have off tomorrow and we are having a couple over for dinner.
I love to cook --- and especially since I have all day...
What are some suggestions? Will be 6 adults --- and wine, lots of wine!

Sounds like something that slow cooks in wine would be perfect! Maybe beef bourguignon or coq au vin.

Re: ideas for dinner -- having friends over
I love to do a taco night when we have friends over. Sautee up some chicken, beef and veggies, make rice and put out tortillas, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Not too much work and everyone can choose what they want
Fondue nights are fun with groups too.
If your gong for more classy and less fun, I'd go for chicken or veal parm or maybe a London broil or a roast beef.
