Ideas for a fun day together?
DH get one day every few months that its just me and him the entire day. SD is busy this Tuesday and DH and I are getting an alone day - give me ideas of what to do out on the island please :). I don't want to do splish splash bc I don't want to be around kids - I would love to have a super fun day planned  . TIA

Why don't you go out east, wine tasting, you can pack a lunch and east outside with a glass as most of the vineyards have picnic tables set up. It will definately have less kids than Splish Splash

Take the ferry to fire island and spend the day at the beach.
Take a drive out to Montauk and hike up the lighthouse
Go see a show in the city

Pack a picnic and drive to bayard arboretum in oakdale. tour the grounds.
Pick a small town and explore.
Do a fishing trip out of captree.
get a couples massage
