Ibuprofen for engorgement?
My milk has been in for almost 2 days but I am sooooo engorged (remember it from last time too) and I am in such pain, even shooting pains in my back.
I've heard about taking Ibuprofen to help a little with the swelling...anyone do it?
I'm still going to EBF but would love to not me splitting at the seams

I didn't but I just got a pump and a heat pack. I was in pain for only like half a day. Heat Massage Pump, repeat, all day, when you aren't feeding.
But my OB did tell me ibuprofen would be helpful

Cold cabbage leaves work WONDERS!! They are a bit smelly but they really work in a day or two!
