Re: Iberia airlines

I've used them several times, but only on short trips within Spain/Portugal. They are ok - but not spectacular IMO. But if your travel includes any Spanish cities I assume they will be a good bet.

Re: Iberia airlines

I have only flown them once (last month)- from Venice to JFK with a transfer in Madrid.

The first flight was fine. My biggest complaint was the Iberia staff at the Venice airport( which is small.) it was early, they were understaffed, and taking their sweet time. And the self check in kiosk didn't work.

I found the planes themselves comfy-I think their were both Airbuses, but I don't know what kind.

On the longer flight from Madrid to JFK I found the flight attendants a little brusque.

It was along flight and they were stingy with the water, so buy your own after you go through security!

Re: Iberia airlines

We took them to Barcelona, it was only the second time I've ever flown so I can't compare it to much except for Southwest but I thought it was great. We had no problems.

Re: Iberia airlines

I've flown to Spain every year since i was 3 months old, my family on my mom's side lives there. Iberia is the main airline we use 90% of the time, the other times have been Air Europa. Imo, Iberia flight attendants and staff are rude and unprofessional. That's just my personal experience, but it's an ongoing thing for years. Unfortunately I usually have no choice but to use them because they are the only available ones to where i fly to.

Re: Iberia airlines

Thank you all. Wow. I don't think I am going to use them now. I don't want to start out my vacation mad at rude flight attendants.

Re: Iberia airlines

celia, if its a good price i would still use them. they are a known airline. and, unfortunately, you cant guarantee that any airline will have NICE attendants. but at least you will be somewhat prepared (like buying water in advance). hey, at the very least you will be pleasantly surprised.

just my 2cents.

Re: Iberia airlines

I've flown them and didn't have a great experience. Very nasty staff, no leg room etc...

Re: Iberia airlines

Don't get me wrong, anything for a great price. I'll put up with anyone! Besides, it's just a flight. But since year after year that's what I normally fly, it becomes a nuisance. Especially after great service from British Airways. But definitely go where it's the cheapest

Yes!! I looove BA...their attention to customer service is superb, at least the times I've flown them, but they can be more expensive, and more layovers probably.

We have flown AA a few times and haven't liked them at all. Didn't care for the flight attendants, customer service was snotty every time I talked to them.

sorry! I fly on them occasionally. Couldn't pass up the great price to Europe they were offering.

We're actually flying from Heathrow to Barcelona on British Airways.
