DH and I enjoy it. We take a lot more chances on movies that we wouldnt if we were going to blockbuster and had to plunk down 5.00 for it. Plus, there is many more options.
The way we look at it is, if we watch 2-3 movies per month, it's worth it to us considering it's 5.00 a pop at blockbuster, not counting the late charges.
Do they still offer a free trial?

I have been happy with it- the selection's good and the movies come pretty fast. We get four movies a month (2 at a time) and I think it's about $12.00. I love that we don't have to go to Blockbuster.

My sister uses Netflix and really likes it. She says they have a good selection and the movies arrive quickly. She loves not having to go to Blockbuster.

Love Netflix!!! I get 3 at a time with unlimited per month $19.95...only have to walk to my front door to get them too

Love it! We really rent TV series. I love watching TV shows in a marathon form. No complaints at all. When you think its only 20.00 a month, unlimited movies...20.00 is the cost of going to see one movie.
no stamps or postage needed, just throw it back in the mail.

Here is my honest opinion!!!
I used to belong to Blockbuster - until I realized that my library has EVERYTHING that blockbuster has or Netflix for that matter.
I live in huntington and I registered on my library website with my barcode from my library card. Then, you can request any item from any library in suffolk couty. So every week I go to blobkbuster's site, see what is releasing and I request it from the library. The library orders copies of all new movies and TV shows on DVD - you name it...!Then they call me when it's there (does not take long at all) and it's FREE ! I figure I am already paying my taxes I might as well get something out of it! I usually have about 20 requests pending at once so it's kind of like Netflix where the movies come in at different times....and the best part is - you don't pay for it! Here is a link to the Suffolk County Catalog - I am sure there is one for Nassau County as well.

DH and I loved it. We only canceled it because we felt we had seen everything that we really wanted to at that point and we were forcing ourselves to watch things.
I think we will go back again now that the weather is getting colder and I am pregnant.
We live on Staten Island and I found that having them sent to my office in Manhattan was the way to get them very quickly. I'd send one out and we'd have the next one in two days.

We just joined. We mailed back our 2 movies today and I am waiting for RENT now...
DH mainly did it cuz in a month I will be home on Maternity leave and it will def. give me something to do while I wait for my little one to arrive.
We split it with my inlaws..they pick movies and we pick movies and we split the bill (which is pretty cheap anyway).
So far, we are very happy with it.
