I will never figure this out
A woman I work with did IVF, the first time and gets twins.
She is now pregnant naturally only 10 months after..

there are many of those cases that happen but when ppl used to tell me when we were having problems ttcing i was like so? lol
but i will share one
dh cousin did ivf 3 yrs ago and had a baby boy. last year she did ivf again and had another boy the begining of june 09. at her 6 week check up she found out she was pregnant. she is due again in 2 weeks w a girl
eta she has endometriosis

I've heard that sometimes pregnancy will correct any previous hormonal issues.
In my case it didn't... in fact, my body was more out of whack then it was before. Even my RE was  for a while.

I heard of stories like these.
A woman I work with said I would conceive right away if I just relax  She said she knew someone who was unable to have kids for like 9 years, so she adopted and then ended up conceiving twins naturally and ultimately decided to have her tubes tied.
She said the reason this woman was finally able to have children naturally was because she stopped worrying about it. Some people just don't get it!!!
But anyway, yea, I hear stories like that a lot.....

SAME THING OVER HERE !!!! I posted about it recently on this board and got flamed for it !
She tried for years on her own, had twins via IVF and 6 months later BANG twins again! NATURAL!!
If I have learned anything from this journey there is no rhyme of reason with IF!!?!?!?

Yeah, that's my favorite comment.
This woman is actually in a bit of denial about it. She thought for sure she would never get pregnant naturally.
Frankly, it makes a some sense to me. Her first IVF, two embryos put back, and she gets twins. She tries naturally and get's pregnant.
Maybe she didn't have an issue at all and it was a matter of time.

Blu-ize... i know stuff like that can be frustrating. I'm sure our turn will happen... hopefully soon.. they do say once the body becomes pregnant it remembers it.
in my case, i'd just like to see the first pregnancy.. lol
never seen a positive on any hpt... even my trigger is gone from my system before i test.. and i only wait 5 days. lol

I'm a lurker here, but I have another "wth?" story to share with you.
My very best friend went through years of IF treatments, has one DD conceived after her 3rd round of IVF. After a very traumatic pregnancy and labor and ultimate c-section, she ended up getting her tubes tied because it was determined that another pregnancy would kill her. They were not taking any chances.
3 years after having her tubes tied, she is pregnant, naturally, with twins.
Go figure.

I'm a lurker here, but I have another "wth?" story to share with you.
My very best friend went through years of IF treatments, has one DD conceived after her 3rd round of IVF. After a very traumatic pregnancy and labor and ultimate c-section, she ended up getting her tubes tied because it was determined that another pregnancy would kill her. They were not taking any chances.
3 years after having her tubes tied, she is pregnant, naturally, with twins.

Ok that is the craziest story I've heard yet...
Actually my IRL friends seem to have failed IVF cycles and go on the following month to get pg naturally. That one I still don't get. Unless it was just the time that the good one showed up.
And actually this is probably what wasted a lot of my time because I got pg on my own before I went to the RE (though m/c at 5w4d). So they just assumed I would get pg again easily. needless to say after 3 yrs, 6 IUI, 4 IVF's and 1 DE IVF...I'm still here.

I've heard stories like this more than I count. I've also heard how many have done IVF numerous times, they didnt work.......then ended up getting PG on their own. It's all a mystery! Who knows how it happens or why it happens?
