i was writing a post and changed my mind
i was going to *itch and moan about how i'm over christmas. i wrote a little list of the reasons.
then, i re-read the list.
boy, i've become a spoiled little brat.
all but one item on the list are because i have TOO MUCH good stuff happening. boo hoo. poor me. people want to spend time with me and people would like to give me a gift.
shame on me.
christmas is in a few days, i need to snap out of it and enjoy my blessings.
all the people i love are healthy and above ground. my son will be home to spend the time with me. i am in a relationship where the things we argue about is how much money we'll give our grown, healthy children for christmas. i received my christmas bonus on friday.
life is good. hell, my life is great.
even the fact that i've gained weight... i have more than enough food to eat.
may your complaints this holiday season be because there are too many blessings in your life and you can't recognize them... like me 
time for me to volunteer my time and money.
maybe this *itching and moaning was a good thing, it put things in perspective.

I did the same last night I'm like oh I have so.much to still do and Dh is like we have money and family and friends we love to buy gifts for. Nothing bad in either scenario. I was like true I'll stop complaining now.

I was overwhelmed at all the people I had to buy for and all the presents i had to wrap. Then I remembered when we had no money to buy the gifts in the first place and I stopped stressing.
