I was up half the night
I had stomach pains throughout the night last night. I think it may have been gas ( TMI) but not sure. Should I be concerned? I am 8 weeks today. Should I call the doctor?
ETA: I still feel iffy today. I made it to work but my belly still hurts a little and the nausea is here. I also feel so tired from barely sleeping all night.

Re: I was up half the night
My general rule of thumb is if you are very concerned, call the doctor and see what they have to say!
I know that in my first trimester, I had so much gas and bloating, so that might be it... ask the doctor what you can take. At 8 weeks, my morning sickness kicked in, so make sure to eat small snacks throughout the day to keep food in your stomach.
Feel better!

I agree....It never hurts to call the doctor. I am 10 weeks and am having a really big problem with gas and bloating. I can't even button my pants!

It can't hurt to call the doctor but gas pains are very normal in early pregnancy and throughout. So is the nausea.

I agree with the ladies, lots of gas in the 1st trimester, but always check with your Dr

Re: I was up half the night
I've been woken up with severe gas pains a few times in this first trimester. But if you are feeling "iffy", it can't hurt to call the doc.

Re: I was up half the night
Thanks everyone. I am going to see how I feel the rest of today and tonight. If I still feel iffy tomorrow I will call the doctor.
