I was having a mushy day today, so
I went to a free bridal showcase at a hall that isn't even "mine".  Rich was at the Mets game with his Dad, so I was on my own.
I left with a certificate for a dozen free roses from James Cress (BoK or boxed, any color, my choice!), and a free pink and yellow BoK from the guy at the Spitz & Peck booth...he told me I looked sad and needed some cheering up!  awwwwww  He made my day!
.....on the way home, I was like, "WHO DOES THAT?!  Who goes to a bridal showcase just because?!?!"

I was actually thinking of going to one a few weekends ago and I'm already married.

And I can research for when my friends, sister, and SIL get married.

Nic You wouldn't beleive the amount of people that go to these for the free food and inexpensive cocktails!
When I worked in Catering I saw alot of the same couples coming in for a cheap night out!

well there was no booze, and I didn't touch the food after I saw people sticking their fingers in it....it was mostly dessert, and I'm more of a food person. I don't eat dessert.

I think that's a good idea. I went to 2 showcases at Oheka (not where I got married) because I liked the first one so much (and our band was playing at the second one - I wanted to see them again.)
If it helped to cheer you up, then it was worth it!!
