I want to scratch my ARMS OFF

So, we've determined that I likely have poison ivy and the itch is driving me MAD. I've NEVER had poison ivy before - it's all over me - arms, legs, stomach.

I think I'm going to pour calamine lotion on myself... or just bathe in it Chat Icon

Anyone else have any remedies?

Aveeno oatmeal bath

DH had poison Ivy a few weeks ago and this worked great for him. Feel better.

In addition, if you can tolerate it, take a benadryl.

I second the oatmeal bath, and then slather on the calamine when you get out.

I've heard the Aveeno oatmeal bath is a lifesaver but I cannot vouch firsthand

I had sever poison ivy 2 weeks ago and I needed a RX, it cleared it up in 1 day. Don;t mess with it, get to the doc before it spreads more, I had blisters popping up for about 1 week, it was everywhereChat Icon
