I WANT TO QUIT SO BADLY!!!!!!!!
next thursday will be three years that i've been at this company.
when they've asked for OT, i'm there. when they've asked for me to do things that don't fall under my job discription, i'm there.
when a co-worker broke her hip and they needed help covering, i went back to more hours.
i've been the poster-child for flexibility!!!!!
today, i ask to have next friday off because it's one of the graduation-type ceremonies for my son's fifth grade class... i'm told no. because everyone else and their grandmother has fridays off around here 
W T F !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've been doing my best to stay here until i go back to schoo, but i can't do this any more. i can't stand this lack of respect.
i'm going to get someone to work on my resume and i'm going to quit and i'm taking all my knowledge, information, and reports (that i've created) with me (or at least, i'll delete them).
i'm so done!!!

i can totally relate in every way i am always the go to person cause i am so reliable you would think that was a good thing right? well i learned i never take a personal day anymore if i need anyday off i suddenly find myself with a slight fever or upset stomach

I can totally relate. I went through the same thing at my job, even had to miss my nephew's Christening because of it . I finally had my fill last summer and handed in my resignation. So sorry you're going through this, but definitely think about a sick day coming up!!
