I want to go home.
Our house has been under construction for the past 2 months. I am starting to get very homesick 
We are so close to finishing, the building inspector is a real a-hole. And now the job is being held up until *he approves* the amended plans. I feel like he is one of those jerkoffs that make people's life miserable because he is in a position of power.

We have been out of our house since the day before halloween. The insulation is in, the doors are up and we are hoping that the sheetrock goes up soon

i know the feeling too we have been out since thanksgiving - it seems we take one step forward to only take two steps back
but i am happy for all this rain we have learned that we have to do more waterproofing just prior to us completing the sheet rock in our lower level - better to fix now before it damages all the new stuff
