I thought it was a myth...

But my mom really had a kitten stuck up in a tree. Then the mommy cat when to rescue it but couldn't get down.

My mom called the fire department and they don't do that anymore

But don't worry, they came down. My neighbor got a ladder to climb up, and when he was approaching they both jumped down and were fine.

Who knew cats reallly get stuck in the tree?

When my family first moved to Delaware there was a kitten stuck in the tree outside my bedroom window.

Coming from Philly where there were no trees, we didn't know what to do and called the fire department as well.

They laughed at us.

The kitten eventually figured its way down.

Or it died up there...you know, that thought never occured to me until right now.

My mom always said when I would be worrying...... "Have you ever seen a dead cat in a tree?" So they must come down when they get hungry or cold or something!

I used to work at a Fire department

I once had a guy come in and get mad at me for not being able to help get a cat out of the tree.





I asked him if he ever saw a dead cat in a tree!!!
