I think my dog knows I'm PG!
My dog usually favors DH, but lately he's been extra cuddly with me and he follows me around the house (even in the middle of the night when I get up twice to pee). If I run to the bathroom to throw up, he sits outside the bathroom door, or tries to sneak in if I don't close the door all the way.
He also isn't leaning or jumping on me nearly as much as he used to...now he gently gets excited when I first come home from work....do you think they can "know"?

they absolutley know...my dog did the same kinds of things....and now she is SO good with the baby....they even do tummy time together....

i'm not sure if my dogs know... they follow me around much more, i think, but they still jump right on my belly!

My DH's dog is up my butt every day! She sleeps so close to me, follows me into the bathroom, lies on the couch or at my feet and has become uber protective of me as well! I so think they know!

One of our fellow PGers (actually a recent mom) on here, can attest that my dog absolutely knew she was pregnant and treated her differently at a GTG at my house. He was rough with everyone else but he kept going back to her and sitting between her legs and cuddling against her legs. Now that I am pregnant, it is hard to tell if he is different with me because I am ordinarily so affectionate with him anyway and he is my shadow.

Sounds like your dog does know. Even my bird got all cuddly with me very early on in my PG. He won't leave me alone. Now he just looks at my belly trying to figure out what's happening.
