I think I am going to tell my bosses this week...
I have a little bit of a belly which is getting harder to hide, and think it's time they knew. I don't plan on telling the rest of the office yet...
When and how did you tell your boss? How did you bring it up and how did they react? I'm pretty nervous about it.

i was nervous about telling my boss too, but he took it very well. i just went into his office and asked if he had a few minutes so i could talk to him. he was so excited for me and asked a few questions and said i was glowing. he was even more excited than i was to tell the rest of my department lol.

For one of my jobs I am in clothing retail part time. It's been a while since I've seen my manager and she came up to me the other day asking me how I've been. So we were chatting a little. Then she asked "So, what else is going on?" (I think rumors were starting to spread - I'm 18 weeks) I just so happened to have a baby onesie in my hand that I was putting back on the rack and held it up. She was so happy and led to a conversation. Turns out she has a 3 y/o daughter. She also said they will be more than willing to work out a schedule for me if I need to.
My other manager, I went into her office and we were talking about a few work related things. Then I said "btw, there's something that I've been meaning to tell you." She looked at me and guessed it "You're pregnant?!" LOL made it so much easier. She gave me a hug, was so excited and couldn't wait to tell everyone.

I told my boss at the end of a week saying something along the lines of "want some fun news to end the week" and the was super happy for me and hugged me. I got the same response from all the boss's at my job. It was actually rather fun. It was amusing to me because earlier in the week my boss even mentioned to me that i should start a family soon because one of the greatest joys is being a parent.

My boss offered me a promotion and I felt had to tell her, I was only 8w, but it wouldn't have been fair IMO. She was ecstatic!

I was extremely tired and starting to show. my boss asked if I was ok because I wasn't myself and I blurted out "I'm flipping pregnant ok" and walked out of his office lol. Replace flipping
