I think I am addicted to shopping...
...seriously...
I spend almost all of my extra cash on clothes, shoes, makeup, hair, nails etc. I do contribute a hefty amount to my retirement fund, but I have little in savings.
I have little credit card debt, I just spend my cash.
Anyone in the same boat as me?

I'm right there with ya. My family & husband call me a shopaholic.....and they are seriously not kidding. Every bit of extra cash I have I have this feeling that I have to SPEND, SPEND, SPEND.....anywhere and everywhere.
I don't have that switch that says "NO, YOU DON'T NEED THAT". Sometimes I feel guilty, but in some strange way it makes me feel complete and content when I buy new stuff. It's so refreshing for me.

I do alot of online shopping so DH is always saying how it feels like I get a package every day. It makes me happy!  At any time I could probably tell you 10 things off teh top of my head that I plan to buy in the not too distant future....lol

Me too! The packages have definitely slowed down after the holidays, but there was a point when DH called our apartment a mail room.

Ever since i got my first Chanel bag last month, I have become addicted, its terrible and I save my money and then spend it on a high ticket item.
I was invited to the Chanel trunk show today at Hirshleifers and put down a deposit on a new spring 2010 bag
I can't help myself, i only went with the intention of looking
Its not a good sign when you walk into Chanel and your sales associate gives you a hug and a kiss

I do have a problem, i freely admit it, it runs in my family, all the women are shopping nuts...I have three walk in closets in my house and I've claimed them all and you cannot see the floor in one of them I loooove clothing, I loove trends, and love to shop

I am addictd to buying cheap things in large quantities.
I think it isn't a big deal, b/c it's a $7 lipstick, but I can get on a kick & buy several in one week & end up throwing several out.
I think last week alone I bought different 5 concealers & I am still not satisfied.

I recently bought a 70 dollar concealer the brand is Cle De Peau and its probably the best i have ever used! Before that my concealers ran me about 40 bucks each

FYI: I received my CDP concealer and had no idea it was made by Shiseido! I googled it and some people state the $40 Shiseido concealer is just as good as the CDP. Just in case you want to give that a try first.

So I bought a bunch of stuff on clearance at Goldy + Mac yesterday, but I got two items at full price--a pair of those no muffin top leggings and a pair of pink princess gloves--should I return the two full priced items and get my $$ back and just be satisfied with the 2 BCBG skirts I got for 20 bucks each and the cowl neck sweater that was marked down 40%?
I am a little low on funds and don't get paid till the 31st. Blah.

Me. Me. I like designer goods at sale prices. And being in the industry I am in I am surrounded by fashion. When I worked for Chanel I would go crazy at teh employee sales.

I'm fat & have bad feet, so I can't buy clothes & shoes as easily as I'd lei kto, so I think that actually helps me. I am addicted to make up & now am am starting to get into jewellery.
