I ran a half marathon on Sunday...
and had a PR on a very hilly Atlanta course!
1:43:01...Sub 8 min/mile! I placed 8th in my division and came in 215 out of about 3k people!!
I have not run a race since the NYC marathon last November. I have kept a base of about 13-14 miles since then and have incorporated strength training and have been eating really healthy. My fastest half was 1:59...I am so excited to see hard work paid off!

I haven't done any speed training, except some speed intervals on the treadmill once a week. I do also run hills on a regular basis because where I live is very hilly...that has definitely helped me get stronger.
