I over reacted last night.
Sorry I didnt finish writing.
i am 23 weeks. I have been feeling my LO move a lot...but for the past 4 days, nothing. So I called the OB to make sure, and she made me go to the delivery room to be monitored and have a sono. Everything is fine...but I feel stupid. My OB and the nurse said I did the right thing...but I still feel silly.

when it comes to your baby, never, ever feel silly for being cautious. You're going to be a great mommy

Re: I over reacted last night.
It is totally fine to be over cautious about these things. Feel good knowing that everything is fine and you really did the right thing by going.

Re: I over reacted last night.
You definitely did the right thing! If it was one day or a few hours I would say maybe you over reacted. I mean sure I would be stressed out (I'm stressed if I don't feel LO for more than an hour) but four days is very valid! My doc told me it's very critical for me now to notice the movements and call immediately if there is any change and you better believe I'd rather be there day and night than god forbid the alternative!!!

never feel silly!!!! no question is stupid and no concern is too little. If u feel something is wrong, it doesn't hurt to get checked. After all its their job!!

Re: I over reacted last night.
It's totally understandable. I always question every little thought that goes through my mind and try to rationalize with myself as to whether or not I am overreacting or being too cautious. But like the others said, when it comes to your baby, you do what you feel you need to do. You would never forgive yourself if you ignored any concerns. I know I wouldn't.

better to be safe than sorry.
i don't see how you overreacted. you did the right thing and had a good outcome. you should be really happy right about now that everything is OK. Not sad about overreacting... which you didn't do.

Re: I over reacted last night.
Never feel silly! Better safe than sorry! I had a similar thing last PG, I didn't want to go but was basically forced to go. It turned out it was because I was having contractions every 2 minutes! It took meds to slow them down. If I didn't go I would have had a preemie instead of a 39+ week baby!
