I need to work at Google

That is only at their main office. The reason they make it so appealling by having doctors, dry cleaners, cafe...etc... is so people work more. There is not one excuse people can give for leaving work early or going out to lunch.

I thought it was all locations.. How do you know this for certain?

Yes California, I typed Washington by accident, lol.
My DH said they get thousands of applications a day because they make it so appealing. But the only excuse that they will by for leaving early is a death. If you are not feeling well, they send you to their doctor..on campus. If you say you need to pick up your kids, that won't work either. lol

it might sound like a cult... but i will tell you this... if the company i work for offered 1/100 of what google offers, i would be willing to work harder, longer, and better.

i saw a special on tv once about how crazy google benefits are! you know who's great too?...the company that makes Cranium (the board game). they give their employees crazy benefits too and there's no desks, its like one big kindergarten class room where everyone just works at playtables!!!
and i agree, if all companies were offering the amenities and the same work environment i would probably work doubly hard too! especially if i worked for Cranium cause it wouldnt feel like work!!!

Wasn't the IPO around $80. My husband bought into the stock as soon as he was able to. Now it is at like $495/share
