I need to vent.....
Ok.....today was the first day I got to work at 10am since Aly slept in and I was able to get our butts out the door. Normally, I let her take her AM nap at home and then go to work.
She woke up at 8:15, didn't go down till 11:30am and only slept 30 min. Mind you she sleeps 2 HOURS at home....
Then she napped again around 3-4. Went to bed close to7pm.
I feel TERRIBLY guilty for corrupting her AWESOME nap schedule (at home only).
I am honestly so DAMN tired of people telling me "she'll get used to it, she'll adjust". NO SHE WON'T!!!!
She's been coming to work with me for 6 DAMN months and she has YET to sleep for more than 1 hr there.
And I'm TIRED of feeling GUILTY for wanting to be a FT SAHM. This is what DH and I want and feel is best for our family and values.

doing what? I've never waited tables and I'm not a night person....a late night is staying up till 11pm for me
plus there are several nights that DH doesn't come home till 10 because he works in a mall

If being a FT SAHM is what you and DH want then why don't you do that? You seem to be good at bargain shopping and saving $$

thanks Moe.....right now it's not financially possible. Soon though....VERY soon.
It's just so frustrating when other people tell you what THEY think is ok to do with your own child

I don't want this to come out wrong and I really feel for you, but you are very lucky to have DD at work with you if she was at a daycare or sitters she might not even sleep that much. I know it stinks but you say the full time SAHM thing is coming soon.. try to hang in there

it is not going to be forever, I would try and hang in there. Try to ignore the people's comments, noone knows your little girl better then u

I know exactly how you feel.
I took my DS to work with me for almost 8 months...he had the worst nap schedule when I was there and at home the days I had to work. When I was off he was the best sleeper.
Also, everyone used to comment on how lucky I was and how easy I had it..they had no idea how hard it was.
