I need the decorator gals! Bathroom question
So we are moving into a new apt--YAY!!!! Both bathrooms have floor to ceiling white tiles with some black tiles as border.
What color can I introduce as an accent?
NOT RED
I need to get a shower curtain, towels, rug etc.
TIA!!!!

What about shades of blue?
I like muted colors for bathrooms, so even greens would look nice, IMO.

Re: I need the decorator gals! Bathroom question
I would say really any color you want. I love greens (sage) and blues (slate). But any color goes with black & white. Go to Bed Bath & Beyond and look at the great selection they have. I'm sure a color will pop out at you and than you can get all the stuff to go with that color. GL!
PS: go onto Benjamin Moore's site and play around with colors on there to see what catches your eye.

Re: I need the decorator gals! Bathroom question
I have 2 white tiled bathrooms. In my DD's we painted BM Jamacian Teal, and all the towels and rugs are an aqua color. I love the way it looks. In the 1/2 we used a cranberry paint and have black and chrome accents.

Re: I need the decorator gals! Bathroom question
oh no, why not red?
black and white are totally classic. i would do a shabby chic french vintage in one (staying with the b&w color palette) and then maybe incorporate light blue in the other bath.
i really like these bath coordinates from target.
accessorize with jars filled with light blue bath salts, cotton balls, decorative soaps, etc and glass candle holders or silver lanterns with light blue candles.
i am not at all a fan of whimsical and cutesy (especially not with black and white). focus on classic, classic, classic.

Re: I need the decorator gals! Bathroom question
You could do all black and white.
I have seen some cute shower curtains and then towels in both black and white....
also, bright yellow works well if you like bright colors. Maybe just a few pops like towels or bath mat and 1 or 2 accessories.
