I need reassurances....
She started rolling yesterday. Back to front- my worst nightmare. Last night she was fussing and it sounded muffled. I went in to check on her and found her with one arm stuck beneath her and her face SMASHED into the mattress.
It doesn't help that I opened the local newspaper and saw an obituary for a baby who died from SIDS.
I am NEVER going to be able to sleep....

It won't take her long to figure out how to pull her arm out. Do you have a sleep positioner with the side "bumpers"? Try that and see how it works.

No, we haven't used positioners- I've been too afraid to put ANYTHING in her crib (not even bumpers). She's a squirmer and moves all over the crib at night, so I'm afraid of using any positioners for fear she gets her face pushed against it.

OMG, I am dreading this day too Amy  I will be freaking out when this happens too. Do you have the Angelcare monitor? We have it and love it, although I know nothing is foolproof.
