I need help and advice please...milk related

Okay, so my DS started milk a little over a week ago. He has been on Elecare formula for a milk allergy. We have transistioned to milk with no problems, until now.

Im kinda confused as to how to tell if he is tolerating the milk. He likes it a lot, hasnt had any stomach problem (doesnt seem as though he is in pain) he doesnt throw it up, but all of a suddened he has gotten a rash on his hiney.

The thing is is that he has started to go poop more often now since starting the milk....sometimes its loose, sometimes its formed. Im just wondering if he might be still allergic or if he has the rash from be wiped more than he usually is.

If it is a reaction to the milk I was wondering why he didnt have stomach pains....i thought both would go together...kwim?

He has been tested at teh allergist (prick tested) when he was 8 months old and he didnt show any signs of an allergy that way. Im tempted to bring him in to the gastro to test his poop again.

What do you guys think?

I think that is perfectly normal. DS didn't have a milk allergy and his poops were weird for a while after the switch

i'd check with your ped and gastro just to be safe. did u switch to the new pampers or give any other new foods that could cause a rash?
