I need an ob rec
hey all. I have been seeing a RE, but now, thankfully, need a rec for an OB. will ask RE, but looking for personal experience.
I live in the five towns, would like to deliver at north shore. I will go to great neck/manhasset area, but not looking to go further east. male or female. preferably with evening office hours. oh, and i am not high risk.
a couple of people have mentioned victor klein to me. any info?

I recommend Drs. Victor Klein and Nimmeroff - They are both experts in the field and that group has an excellent reputation. I have been seeing Dr. Klein. There are a few people on here who use that office. FM me is you have any questions

Definitely Dr. Richard Trongone! Dr Scholl (RE) recommemded him and he was fabulous! He's on Northern Blvd in Manhasset. FM me if you want info.

I used to go to Dr. Betsy Lanter in Hewlett, when I lived near that area. She was great... the only reason I left her practice was because I moved. I highly recommend her!

I also see Dr. Klein and love him. I have actually seen 4 out of the 5 drs there and like them all.

Dr. Wendy Freed (Freid?) in Lake Success. She isn't my OB but is my friend's sister-in-law. Apparently she is a great doctor. I know her personally and think she is very nice and am thinking about becoming a patient. She delivers at LIJ in Manhasset.

Dr. Steven Cohen / Dr. Evan Shapiro- they are in Little Neck/Great Neck... they also have an office in Woodbury... they are affliated with LIJ. They are AWESOME!!!!!!! I'm not sure what the little neck number is, but the woodbury number is: 516-921-5900... they will connect you to the other office. Good Luck!!

love love love, dr.korn/linkie/taubaum on 900 northern blvd. great neck. been going there since i was 18, im now 32 and they delievered both my children. they are affilated with lij hosptial. let me know if you would like any more info. linkie is a female, incase you had a preference as well.

Dr. Melissa Oppenheim is my OB and she's awesome! She's on Northern Blvd. in Great Neck (if you do a search there are several ladies here that use her and/or her partners).
ETA: I delviered at NSUH-Manhasset.
