I need a quick way to doctor up chicken stock
DS is sick & my usual chicken soup takes like 4-5 hours to make. I need some quick. I have chicken stock, can I just simmer it for an hour or so with carrots & celery? Think that will taste ok? help! I am the worst cook.

Stock or bouillon would both work. You can dice up the veggies and some till they're soft, which should take terribly long. You can add pasta if you want too.

What about pastina? Bouillon or stock and a little pastina. You can dice up veggies too or add a slice of cheese (although I'd skip the cheese if they're tummy hurts).
