I need a Pediatrician in eastern Suffolk...
can anyone recommend someone? I will be delivering in Southampton Hospital and live in Calverton. I don't know anyone with kids around here.

Dr Lao in Aquebogue is supposed to be good. He is one of the other doctors that my ped (Dr Mercier in Mattituck) sends us to when he is away.
ETA: I am delivering in SH as well

I am delivering in Southampton too. I have heard really good things about Dr. Nadia Persheff...she is located in Southampton above the Wachovia builing on Hampton Road in Southampton. I dont know if that is too far for you to come for the Dr but she is supposed to be amazing!!

Thanks! I saw Dr. Persheff's name on the hospital paperwork. If she is good, I won't mind the drive.

You can schedule an interview with her--that way you can really get to meet her and see the office. We are considering her as well.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Garabedian from Southampton Peds. I live in Riverhead so I can understand the travel but they have a satellite office in Hampton Bays so its not too far of a drive. They're all really good from that group.
