I need a new sofa...just wondering what is best?
At the minute I have sofas from Ikea, which have served us well for the last 7 years. So now, its time to get some new ones and I was wondering about what features were good...the ones I have now have loose slipcovers so I can throw them in the washing machine...I like that function, but I wonder if one with static covers are better? Anyone care to comment? Also, keep in mind that I have 2 cats and a baby....and a husband!
I just worry about ones where the covers don't come off because I am a messy bugger!!!
This is the one I like, but I would need two of them for the room, the walls are light brown...

we ordered our from The Place in May. It's due at the end of June, can't wait to get it!

Don't forget, I live in England, so I can't shop at all those great places on LI.
This looks great in the pictures and I am going to have a look at it tomorrow, I hope when I see it that the pillows aren't stuffed with ROCKS or PEBBLES!!
Don't you want to sit on your new sofa NOW???

I like places with the guarantees. You pay X amount for the sofa plus like $500 on top of it for protection plan. I admit I am messy  and then there is also my 2 year old that is constantly putting ice cream on the sofa I have now, the cat etc. Some of the more expensive places offer the protection plan and cover pet damage, all food stains, a cut on the fabric etc. The sofa I bought 3 years ago during hard times only cost me like $400. I am planning on spending $3000 on my new one. $500 of it will be for the protection plan. They will be sorry they even sold the plan to me when I am through with them. hehehe
They'll replace the sofa or store credit if they can't fix it.
