I LOVE wasting money, I really really do
Yeah, so, basically I was able to get my MIL out of the house so Dh could do the deed, so I could rush off to the RE to get an IUI.
I get there and she says I'm either REALLY early or JUST ovulated because my follicles are on the small side. She said it's my choice on whether to do the IUI, so I throw caution to the wind, and decide I'd rather go ahead on the off chance my CBEFM is right.
Then I get a call at 3pm - bloodwork is showing I'm really early.
There goes another $300 down the drain!

if the CBEFM showed that you were peaking, there is still a shot! sperm can live up to 5 days... lots of  for you beth!!

11mm. Bloodwork shows too it was way too early, so they're having me come back in on Thursday for an ultrasound and b/w. The only silver lining in all of this is that I'll probably TRULY ovulate after I get back from my business trip on Tuesday, which means we still have a shot. $300 under, but hey, if we get pregnant this month, I won't care!

Well, on the good side. You didn't miss it.
Hang in there. It's only money. But then I'm looking back at a $10k failed IVF and thinking...$300 is not so bad. How did I get here?

Good point, it's all about perspective, isn't it, and in the grand scheme of things, whether it's $300 or $10,000, it's a drop in the hat compared to the ultimate, end result
