I LOVE fridays!!!
My mommy is home!!!!  I'm glad to see her out of there. They still don't know what's wrong with her but her dr allowed her to come home for the weekend since she has to be back there on Monday for the colonoscopy either way...
I met w/ my RE today and from what I can see his admin gave me ALL of my records!!! DHs SA is there- both of the IUI protocols w/ my results as well as my 1st IUI itself and levels afterwards.  I'm so happy!!!
AND Dh met me for the last 10-15 mins of my meeting w/ my RE b/c he finished work early and then took me out to lunch and now tonight we're going out to dinner together and then to a movie to celebrate our anniversary, since we didn't get to yesterday!
AND someone from LI-IVF called to confirm my appointment in Melville on Monday afternoon- so I feel like everything is falling into place.
My dr and I discussed all of our options. He mentioned going in to do ovarian drilling using a needle/laser - but rather than cut into the abdomen there's a new procedure where they go in and make 3 holes using the laser- but they do it like they would do an egg retrieval--- so you're still put out but the side effects are much less... he said if I agreed to it it would take place at stony brook hospital- but I still think I'd rather do IVF.
He said the outcome could mean that we wouldn't need assistance TTC possibly after the fact b/c the only problem seems to be that I don't ovulate on my own, but there's only a 50-50% chance that I will or I won't- so I don't see a benefit either way- I could go through the process and still not ovulate on my own in which case I'm pretty much in the same position I was already.... right?
 Except I'd be missing pieces of my ovary where the holes would be.
I mentioned to him that his senior partner suggested my looking into the NYS grant w/ other drs and he didn't disagree. He told me we have to do what's best for us and to just let him know...
Anyway, that's my update for now. Now I have to make copies of my records so I can give Dr. K a set and keep a set for myself as well as try to figure out the last time they checked my LH and some other things b/c I need to fill out the application for the grant completely before Monday in case he gives me the go-ahead and they are the only things missing...

Looks like we are both doing better today, despite the horrible rain. Glad your Mom his home. I wonder if she just has some nodes on the intestines that need to be removed (we get them as we get older).
Have fun tonight! Is there a movie theater out this way I'm not aware of? LOL.... I'll be working with DH doing estimates tonight. At least we'll be together.

LOL- we actually headed over to the UA in Hampton Bays. There's one in my town but the screens are pretty crummy.....

Thanks everyone. Just got home and am looking forward to just getting in my bed and calling it a night.
DH has to work early both days this weekend so I'm going to hear an alarm on my 2 days 'off' from taking care of my grandma  YUCK!!!!!
Oh well... what are you gonna do, right?
Then tomorrow morning my neice and nephew are coming out on the train with their nanny... my parents took a trip out tonight to pick up a booster seat for my neice so that no one had to drive into Queens to get them (which would've been me or my dad--- most likely me... though I don't know what my mom was thinking going out- she should be resting!!!!!). My aunt gave me a carseat to use before my nephew was born when Emma wanted to go someplace w/ me so I didn't always have to use my brother's car - so we'll use that one for my nephew tomorrow...b/c she's outgrown it now.
