I know this has been asked before: swings
I'm so enigmatic! So I registered for the graco one that attaches to the carseat.... I chose it becuase it folds up flat and takes up almost no space... it's also not $$$
now I'm having doubts.... becuase I've read reviews that it is very loud . I know that swings are rejected by some babies, and are a saving grace with other babies... I'm hoping for the latter...
Which swing are you getting and why? I also would prefer something that matches our apartment (grey / black / white) rather than something super-colorful.
TIA!

Re: I know this has been asked before: swings
I registered for and received the Boppy travel swing. I liked that it was neutral in color, small and I could bring it outdoors (which is nice since we're having a late spring baby). It's $65.
Haven't seen any black, white or red ones at the main stream stores. Have you scoped out modernnursery.com? Though it would probably be $$$ if they do carry them...

DC outgrew his carseat by 6 months. He can still use his stand alone swing. There are full size swings that fold up.

Re: I know this has been asked before: swings
We have the Graco Lovin' Hug swing. I dont know if I would get the car seat swing for a few reasons, some babies love hte car seat, DS is okay with it, but he will sit in the swing longer than the car seat. And DS is a big baby so at 4 months he is already out growing his infant seat, I doubt I will get more than 6 months out of it, but he still has plenty of room in his swing. If you are looking for a space saver, I would go with a travel swing over the car seat swing, JMO.
Our Swing -DS loves it!

Re: I know this has been asked before: swings
thanks for your input! yeah, I was wondering if Crouton will want to be in the swing past 5 months or so.... Since it seems to be common, I'll register for something else. You ladies posted a couple super-neutral ones with good amazon reviews! Thanks!
