I never used a bottle warmer. DS was able to drink the BM directly out of the fridge, at room temp or at body temp.

Re: i know nothing about bottle warmers
I only used formula but I wouldn't use a warmer with playtex. The bags will heat up super quick and may get too hot. We had issues at daycare with the warmer and dd's playtex bottles.

We use ventaires and do not use a bottle warmer. If I needed to warm up (or take the chill out since we chose not to warm bottles), we put a medela bottle in a bowl of hot water until the milk was room temp. Then we transferred to the ventaires.

Don't waste your money on a bottle warmer. No need for one!

Exactly! I would use a big plastic cup of very hot tap water and let the bottle sit in there for a few min to take the chill out if need be

I used Ventaire for both of my children and always heated formula/milk up in a glass bottle on the stove. I just heat up a small sauce pan of water and place it in there to warm up.

Re: i know nothing about bottle warmers
I never used a bottle warmer, I didn't want another thing taking up space in my tiny kitchen. I ran hot water from the tap into a large coffee mug and put the bottle in there for a couple minutes.

Re: i know nothing about bottle warmers
I said the same thing (not necessary), but did splurge on a Born free bottle warmer with #3.
It is pretty cool to have & works really well. I should have gotten it earlier.
