I know I am new but I need to vent!!!
I am in grad school for opera and I had auditions this week for the opera at school. I was not going to audition but the opera director at my school said we would like you to audition. So I auditioned on Thursday and got a call back on Friday. Then friday night I get a call from the office assistant to come back on monday and try out for outreach which means I didnt get a role in the opera. I then get a call from my friend that works in the office. He tells me that the visiting conductor in the opera said he could not work with my SITUATION!!! like I have a disease or something.... MY SITUATION... hello I am pregnant... has nothing to do with my singing!!! He told them that I was his first choice until he heard that I was pregnant... Can you believe this??? Sorry I had to get this out!!

I guess they aren't aware thats kind of illegal...

I got fired with my first pregnancy for being pregnant..people suck
