But I just have to say that the evil coworkers are at it again. Same two women, same two horrific birth stories. Don't they get that we still work with ALL the same people so the stories they told at the last party, same stories they are telling at this party.

What? You don't want to talk about your labor at a work pizza party with male coworkers present? Well, you must be prude or something because apparently its all the rage.

So, I finished my drink, stood up and announced that it was time for me to go. Everyone laughed, and yet they continued.

I will NOT put up with this for 5+ more months. I am already tired of it. STFU ALREADY!

You wished for death, I get it. It was horrible, I get it. Obviously, you still haven't gotten over it so maybe you should look into some counseling at this point rather than talk about it over pizza with your male manager and your 9 month pregnant assistant manager.

WOW! Like they are the only women on the planet who ever had to endure labor!
I can't wait until you go into labor and it's easy as pie and you can just rub it in their faces at EVERY SINGLE WORK GATHERING!! Won't that be fun!!!

Yeah, don't actually do it at work. As an attorney, I shouldn't be advising people to do that! Chat Icon

I don't get women like that. Never ONCE did I "wish for death". Honestly it wasn't THAT bad. Our bodies are meant to do this! Tell those bytches to stop being drama queens.

Re: I know I always talk about this - sorry!

One thing I learned is that people change stories so much to fit whatever "image" they are going for, be it hard labor, bravery, whatever. I've had situations where I somehow ended up talking to the person's spouse and their version was entirely different.

Re: I know I always talk about this - sorry!

I am the exact opposite...I do not like repeating my story in front of preggos or anyone who is thinking about it lol...because my experience wasn't so great, and I don't want to scare anyone. So unless you really want to know, I am not telling.

These 2 should keep their pie holes shut. Chat Icon
