I know about postpartum hair loss but postpartum hair knotting?
My hair is knotting like never before! Has this happened to anyone else? I am also starting to lose my hair so maybe that has something to do with it.

This happened to me!! I have no clue why. It was really bad when ryan was about 4 months old...I would be shampooing my hair and feel knots..and then i'd try to brush it and more knots. It was awful!! I wish i knew why it happened. My hair was falling out horrible after him, i wore it back a lot too..maybe it has something to do w/it?

This is what is happening with me! I wear it down, knots. I wear it up- knots. No matter what I do I have them. I am losing enough hair to make a wig and the hair on my head is knotty. Ugh.

This happened to me so bad!!!!! I had to cut one out it was so bad!  This and loosing so much hair is why I chopped all my hair off pixie style.

I didn't knot...I did loose a ton of hair though.... See my spinoff about grey hair growing back in in place of the hair I lost

Get out! I think I will lose it if this happens. I am already obsessed with finding any greys and pulling them out by the root.

OMG - I thought I was the only one! My hair started to fall out like crazy 3mo PP and probably leveled off around 6-8 months... BUT then my hair texture changed and the new hair that has grown since giving birth is much coarser and drier. I always had soft flowing curls and they NEVER tangled. Now, I can't find a hair product to even come close to combating my problem. The ends are frizzy, the curls tangle, and it's very brittle and dry. I thought maybe the town did something to the water.... It's even this bad the day after a hair cut, so it's not that.
