i kinda want a "themed" shower...
my friends have asked what i would like to do...i figure since  is due January 7th but have been told i will likely be induced at 38 weeks (which is sometime around 12/24) anyway, i wanted to do a 'Santas bringin us a baby' theme...
lil xmas trees or wrapped presents for centerpieces, lil sugar gingerbreads or something for favors..whatdya think? Is this slightly dumb? lol

go for what you want...its ur shower and spoil urself rotten If I had a shower it would be ruffles galore everywhere and soooo sugary and sweet ppl would get nauseaus!!!

my mother wants to do the sugary sweet ruffley type of shower..my thoughts on it are this..if i do that, people will wanna buy me clothing..dont ask me why i feel this way, but i feel the "girlier" i make it, the more clothing i will get...thats the ONLY thing holding me back lol
i think itll be the first weekend in dec..and DH and i are HUGE christmas fanatics..so i thought it would be cute, also since most of my friends and family knew how hard it was for us to have , she is gonna be our lil Christmas miracle :)

My BFF was due in January and we made her christmas ornaments as favors - got ceramic blank white ornaments from Michaels and put little pink & blue feet on them (also from Michaels in the scrapbooking section) and personalized them with the date...they were a big hit  ...I dont think a theme is dumb at all !
