I just noticed these scab like things on my belly button
WHAT the heck are they? I don't They are attached to my belly button and I don't want to touch them too much! Should I be concerened? What the eff is it?? It's not dirt or lint. It looks like scabs! Should I call my Doctor?

I had the same thing and FREAKED! It was dried dirt. DH looked it up and because our belly buttons are popping out it's more likely to get dirt trapped in them. So it looks kind of like scabs.

I spoke to the nurse at my Dr.'s. She said it sounds like a skin tag and most likely my belly button will become an outtie. She said she's not concerned as long as it does not start showing any discharge and should go away over time.

After DD was born, I noticed my belly button was like brown all around it -- almost like the linea negria but just where my belly button had been flattened and started to sink back in after she was born. I went to the dermatologist 6 w PP because I had a PP rash on my arms and happened to ask her about my belly button and she was like "oh, that'll just flake off soon" -- turns out, I could just scrub with a rough wash cloth and that it came off!  I thought it was like the line and was a skin discoloration... I felt really silly.
