I just have to share

So here we are down in sunny Florida, it is my 10th year of coming down here with (DH he runs Passover Program) So many of them are regulars and have been coming here & chatting to us through us getting married, buying house etc.

I have had so many "enquires" as to our childless status I am going to South Beach tomorrow to get a T-shirt printed.

So today as I am en route to the beach a large older lady corners me and says "So when are you & Bob gonna have some nice little kiddies? How long have you been married now? Must be at least 6 years, what are you waiting for my dear, your'e not getting any younger" After managing not to slap her false teeth across the pool I say "Well we have been having a few issues" she retorts with "Issues, smissues, you just need to relax my dear, then you'll have a nice little kiddie for your Husband" I swear to god I almost fell over. I am in a position that I can't be as rude as I would usually like to be in that DH is working here. So I just said "Hmmm Ok, I hadn''t thought of that - thanks" and slunk off to the beach trying to stop bottom lip from wobbling.

Give me a break. Anyway just thought I would share that little gem, I know you ladies will understand.

All will be fine when I get the T-shirt tomorrow - "When I'm Pregnant - You'll Be The First To Know - So Stop Bloody Asking Me - OK?"

Yeah that's it....relax and then you get pregnant.....hmmmm...well lets see I have been doing that since I was 26 and I'll be 36 in October...hmmmm...

I am just as rude back to people now when they ask those questions and make remarks like that. I figure maybe next time they'll be more careful when asking somebody else about why they are childless!

Someone the other day asked me when I was "dropping another kid." If you dont' know my history, I lost a child at 36 weeks. I swear, I almost f'ing lost it. People are so rude and clueless, its incredible.

I like the t-shirt, can you print up a few for us on the boards?

I just LOVE the relax comment. I am still trying to work up a good response for that one.

I have always wanted to tell these morons that there is plenty of money to be made in IF and that if they have all the answers, they should go into the field.
