I just got a call from our escrow company...
that handled the sale of our condo six months ago. Apparently they have some bill that they never charged to us so they want $150. She left a number to call her back.
I deleted the message- if you are too incompetent to bill for a service you gave me six months ago, I don't see why I have to pay you!

that happened to us w/our lawyer...we had already written the check at the closing, but they didn't cash it for about 6 months. With all the $$ and checks flying around at the closing, i never noticed that it this one hadn't been cashed. So six months later a $950 check was cashed. Thank God we had the $ in the bank to cover it.

Christine-be careful because usually in your closing documents they have something you signed saying that if they forgot to charge you for something you agree to pay it whenever they realize they fuc$ up!
