I just fell
I was carrying the laundry basket down the stairs so I couldn't see where I was stepping but I've gone down those steps so many times I didn't even think about it. Anyway I ended up missing the last step and I lost my footing and fell landing on my leg but still in an upright position, not on my belly. My leg and foot hurt a little but nothing serious. Otherwise I feel fine but of course I paranoid that somehow the impact and strain to keep myself upright somehow could have hurt the baby. It's after hours at my doctors office and I'm not sure this counts as an emergency worth calling about. Should I be concerned?

Re: I just fell
If you didn't land on your belly and you aren't having any pain or cramping I think you're okay.
Hope you didn't hurt your leg & foot too bad

Re: I just fell
thanks ladies! my leg and foot actually feel fine now so I guess I didn't land too hard on them. I'm just so mad at myself for being so clumsy! I should have been looking where I was stepping. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if I wasn't lucky enough to land the way I did. I'm just hoping that I didn't jolt the baby or placenta in a way that would cause harm.
