I have to whine for a sec...
Dh and me have been so busy working....I'm so busy with the new job and he's busy with work and his MBA after work. We haven't been to the beach yet, we're both tired and a bit cranky and I have like a sad amount of vacation time to get me through until January since I am new. I'm pooped. Yes, we're healthy and happy and I know that's what matters. I'm just....sad. Summer is happening and we're missing it.   On the other hand, I just got a huge freelance assignment from Dance Magazine....enough to buy a new LV bag if I want! LOL...my best friend just told me to think of work as something I have to go to during the day so that I can buy more shoes. ha ha! I'm happy at work; it was just a funny comment I had to share. It would help us all to think like that!

Summer is happening and we're missing it.
I feel the same exact way. We've both been SO busy since April that I barely even realize it's summer! We're planning a quick weekend getaway for the end of the month. It'll only be two days, but hopefully it'll be relaxing and we'll get to enjoy the great outdoors for a bit.
