I have to complain

I am SO constipated (sorry TMI) and I have TERRIBLE gas pains- I am sitting here at work in so much pain...

I'm saving the GasX to take tonight so I can sleep. I'm eating fiber cereal, prunes, drinking water, taking stool softener....my Dr. said to take the laxative Senekot- so I'm going to take that as soon as I get home...but the gas pains hurt so mich right now- I want to go home but this is my third week at my new job so I don't want to do that.....

Just needed to vent....I'm short and have a small torso so I think Matty is crushing my digestive system- I tried to talk to him about it but he's not listening...

i know how u feel - i'm having the same problem - and it is horrible. i also have IBS so that makes it even worse!!! sometimes the pains get unbearable and to be honest it scares me. I go back to the dr on wednesday and i cant wait to see if there is anything else i can do. apparently the vitamins are a big part of it also.

i keep trying to remind myself it is all worth it in the end...

for you! Yes, iron and I are NOT friends...my Dr. said that I can alternate days- one day a vitamin w/out iron and then one day with the iron.....

Stupid question though - how can you tell the difference between gas pains and other pains. I know it should be obvious but I am a little dumb when it comes to this stuff.

I feel for you...

I've only recently started to get constipated badly, and its the most uncomfortable feeling

I had to start taking an iron supplement in addition to my prenatal (since I was told I am anemic) and ever since then, the potty issues are really awful... when I finally DO go, its not pretty

I don't know what to suggest but I truly hope you feel better soon and get some relief!!

Felicia- I am so sorry you have to take extra iron! This is so darn uncomfortable!

I can tell it's gas pains because I've had issues on and off all my life... In the first trimester I doubted myself a couple of times but I really know that these pains are gas- kind of like a baloon pressing against your abdomen and causing a sharp pain....

Im in the same boat...after leaving summer school, someone asked me if I was ok, because I was walking like I had a stick up my butt
