I have to check my garbage all day...
Because my 19 month old loves to throw everything in it. I found a pair of his feetie pajamas he took from the laundry basket that may have fallen out on the way to the basement. I had to remove everything from my corner cabinet bc it all went into the garbage. All the other cabinets are locked. Lol
As my IL's say... We can get him a shirt that says "Here comes Trouble" and it fits him.
DS1 was not like this.

I have to check my garbage all day...
my 18 month old twins love the garbage too. they are constantly trying to get the last sips out any soda can in the recycling and throwing lots of things out. They love to drop food onto the floor so they can throw it out
their older brother never bothered with the garbage

My DD does that too... she thinks she's "helping" (and sometimes she is).
On a funny, related note - she threw my BCP in the garbage last week - guess she wants a playmate!

Lock on the garbage. We have one and we have a lock on the toilet because everything likes to go swimming.

Our garbage can was relocated to the top of an unused counter top for months... Good luck!!

LOL! My son was like this. We have locks on EVERY cabinet and EVERY drawer in the house. We have toilet locks on every toilet.
We do give him a drawer to play with. We keep the oven mitts and pot holders in there.

My 17 month twins love throwing out the remotes to the TV. I always have to check the garbage, but lately they been getting what the garbage is used for.

My daughter likes to put things through the letterbox, so stuff like coins, food, and toys wind up outside the front door!

I have to check my garbage all day...
DD does this as well. Ped says its actually a good thing, as at this age they like to "help" around the house. She also loves to sweep, and try to clean up spills.
