I have to ask...
So, I read so many posts about how wonderful it is to feel baby's first flutters and kicks.. I'm 23 weeks and I love when I feel baby move around bc I know its doing well and I think its cute and amazing to have this LO moving around inside of me, but I have to say that I dont love the actual feeling of the flutter/kicking! It feels weird to me! Does this make me a horrible person

Re: I have to ask...
i hope not b/c i kind of feel the same way..i like knowing the baby is doing okay in there, but it feels weird to me too. when i was pg with my dd it didn't start to feel "unweird" until i was further along, like 30 weeks, currently im 21 weeks.

Re: I have to ask...
Don't feel horrible! I am 2 weeks behind you and am always startled when I feel the baby move. Sometimes I feel like the baby is poking me or tickling my insides. The whole concept is weird to me- there is a living being inside of me moving around. I think its just something we have to get used to and by the end of the pregnancy it will be like second nature to feel the baby move.

Re: I have to ask...
In the beginning I liked it but as he got stronger and after 30 weeks, he hurts everytime he moves between kicks and belly waves, im 38 weeks now and he is very painful every time he moves.

Re: I have to ask...
while it's wonderful and amazing, sometimes it feels really strange to me, like a grinding feeling, and i am not a huge fan of that. now at 31 weeks it feels more like twisting and turning which is also strange but not as uncomfortable.

Re: I have to ask...
I can understand why you might feel that way. If I had that feeling and I wasn't pregnant it would def. be super annoying/weird/funny etc. I just remember that my little baby is making me feel that way and what a miracle it is and then I don't mind it so much. In the last week or so I have been able to push lightly on my belly and feel something (leg, arm, idk) sort of rolling on my fingers.....def. creepy.

Re: I have to ask...
You are not alone. Although it is a wonderful thing to be able to experience, it definitely can get annoying. Baby likes to kick and move at the worst times!!

Re: I have to ask...
No way DO NOT feel horrible. I wasn't a fan of it either....The 1st real kick I finally was cool then after that no thanks! My bruiser kicked the crap outta me! I remember one of my friends said after I had my DS...dont you miss the kicks? Ummm no. So I COMPLETELY understand. Although I do look foward to the 1st kick....thats about it LOL
