I have to admit something
I'm on WW now and it's a secret. Only DH and mom and dad know. Well,, and you guys.
None of my friends or co-workers.
That's not the biggest thing.
I can't bring myself to get on the scale. I took a guess at my weight and did WW online. First week I put a loss of 2 lbs..it seemed ok.
I know this is not the right way to go about this. I've gained since being on some meds and I'm just miserable. I'm a full figured girl to begin with.
I took my last known weight and added 7 lbs.
It's a silly formula that has no scientific basis. I just know what size I am. I've measured though even though I didn't weigh.
I guess I figure when my clothes start falling off of me and I'm in my previous size I will get on the scale.
I hope I'm not setting myself up to fail.

I think if staying off the scale keeps you going each day, then stay off the scale. Follow the plan and it will work. Good luck!!

ITA...I personally HATE THE SCALE.
I feel I look good and when I see a # it seems more to me and puts me into a tizzy.
It is niceto be able to see how much you lose BUT if you are against it use your clothes as a measure..maybe youcould even measure your waist, chest, hips--so you can get an idea of inches?

yep, I'm doing that. I like that. If I can get into my previous size I know it worked and I can keep going.
It gives me so much anxiety to think of the scale. I won't even do it for the doc.

Re: I have to admit something
I don't think you need the scale to be successful with weight loss. Granted, your WW online info may not be accurate, but you said you're measuring yourself, so you do have an indicator as to how you're doing. Your size and how you feel are way more important than the numbers on the scale. As long as you're sticking with the WW food program and doing what you're supposed to there, you aren't setting yourself up for failure - maybe just for some weight numbers that aren't 100% spot on
