i have an opportunity to go to vegas...
so a few friends of mine are going to vegas in november for only 2 nights. i would only miss 1 day of work, we only have to pay for 1 night at the hotel (one night is free and there would be 4 of us splitting it), air fares are around $300-350, but then there is food, drinks and gambling.
i can't decide if i should go or not. it's not the most expensive trip, but we just bought a house and we're trying to save. DH said he has no problem with me going and it would be fun because i've never been to vegas with friends. What would you do?

GO
You can budget easily. 2 days in vegas does not have to be crazy expensive. There is more to do besides gamble, that doesn't break the bank.
Do it now while you have the opportunity!

thanks everyone! my mom, who is usually pushing me to do things and spend money before we start a family, is actually telling me to save my pennies. the fact that DH is fine with me going leads me to believe i should go. i probably won't have another opportunity like this!
i still keep going back and forth, but i have a little more time before i have to make a final decision. with a little push from you guys, i might just go! thanks again
