I have a TMI question
How do you know if you slightly leaked fluid or slightly peed yourself? Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom, my underwear and pants were slightly wet. Not crazy wet or anything just slightly.
I am 38 weeks and on Wednesday night at my appt, I lost a good portion of my mucus plug and more yesterday. So I am not sure if this could possibly be leaking. I know it's also a possibility that the baby was on my bladder and I could have slightly peed myself  . Is this something I should call my doctor about or just monitor to see if it happens again?

It sounds weird - but one of the best ways to tell if you are leaking fluid is to smell it.  Amniotic fluid is sweeter smelling vs the smell of urine.

I am 38 weeks and I always wonder the same thing if that were to happen. How the heck would I know? I guess like others say, it has a distinct smell.

I know this sounds gross, but - Are you sure you didn't sweat? (Sorry TMI) I wake up soaked through with sweat lately, and sometimes my underwear is so wet I have to change it in the middle of the night.

I was really hot when I woke up so this is a possibility too.

from wht i heard, if you lay back down and then get up and it leaks agin then its your water because when you lay down it will pool up inside you
