I have a question/concern about DS being sick

DS has basically had a cough/been congested for a few weeks. He gets thenebulizer 4x a day (has been increased to Albuterol & Pulmicort this week) WE also started him on an antibiotic for a potential ear infection. He was at the ped on Tuesday and he was very congested, etc. That is when they added the pulmicort to the nebulizer treatments. He seemed like he was doing better, coughing less, etc. until this morning. He has been coughing non-stop ALL day long (but not a deep chesty cough - for the most part just an annoying hacking cough), but it is especially bad when he eats (almost like he's choking)

I am at a loss - I am so sick of this sick stuff - I feel so bad for him.....

Do you think I should call the ped again tomorrow??? I don't understand why the coughing got so incredibly bad today - when I say constant I mean literally like every 5 - 10 minutes

What would you do??? (ETA : he's 15 months and acting fine, playing etc. but not really eating too much)

Hmm. It could be that his airway is opening up more now and so he's bringing up whatever is in his chest, hence the more frequent coughs? I'd call the ped. just incase, though.

It could be the pulimcort- DD had a bad cough which is now worse due to Xeopenox(Sp?). The doctor said it would get worse before it got better since the treatments were getting all the phelgm up

Tell that to my DD who spent most of last night with Mommy or Daddy sitting in our bathroom with the steam shower going.
