I have a few questions..
hey ladies, some of my questions will be silly and not so silly...
1) where can i get a good heart rate monitor that wont break the bank? Can you all recommend one?
2) silly question- so i have been doing online searches for gender calendars and all are pointing to a boy.. what are my chances that they are right?? 50/50 right? has any of the online gender predictions been wrong for you?
3) another silly question..lol- when can I try the Baking Soda Test? based on online calculations- i am only 3wks
thanks!

Re: I have a few questions..
Heart rate monitor for you or doppler for the baby? I think people on here got their dopplers on amazon....but just know you shouldn't even try to use it until 12 weeks or after because even the Drs have trouble finding the HB on them that early and it will just cause you to freak out.
online gender predictions.....were all wrong for me and you have just as good of a chance of guessing yourself......its always a 50/50 guess.
never did the baking soda test

Re: I have a few questions..
Agree with Amazon. They really run in price though so do some research. We didn't buy one but DH really wanted to.
The gender prediction tests all say different things for me too. I did the baking soda test and it came up girl at 9 weeks and boy (I think) at 16 weeks. It didn't fizz like alka-seltzer or anything but it wasn't totally flat. They are all a bit crazy!
We find out on 2/1 and thats all I am going to believe. I am sick of people throwing their keys down for me to pick up or asking me my cravings or to put my hands out.
