I hate work today! Long Vent

Just had to sit an listen to a client complain and try to argue about something I have no control over. I wanted to just say "if you don't like it don't buy it and if you don't like this company go buy from someone else, you are a tiny client and don't' make a difference in my yearly sales anyway." but of course I couldn't.

Then I get a call that a sub-agent in another country made a similar sale that I did and because of it there is this big twisted mess that I will probably get yelled at for, but it's also something out of my control.

I don't want to go into too much detail but I work in what I think is a very silly industry. My next job will still be in sales because I like it but in an industry with much more importance like healthcare or education so an "emergency" is actually an emergency not just someone procrastinating or changing their mind last minute.

Ultimately I am sitting here asking myself if why I commute 1.5 hours each way to sit here getting stressed over something so trivial (although it doesn't seem trivial to everyone but it really is) when I have the health of my baby to be concerned about. If it wasn't for the good benefits and maternity leave this company offers, I'd be ready to leave today.
