I hate rsvps
Dd's bday party is on Sat. No one rsvp. We invite the same 50 people every year and every year we have no clue if there will be 20 people or 50 people. It's a backyard party and we always have tons of food but it's so frustrating. Dd doesn't care as long as 10 specific people show up and they come every year and dh doesn't care because he cooks for an army.

Not RSVP'ing is literally the RUDEST think anyone can do and I don't care what anyone says, there is NO excuse to not reply. It literally takes 10 seconds to check your calendar and text someone yes or no. Sorry OP, I know it's frustrating.

OMG I would be embarrassing the SHIT out of the ones who never respond.
I'd be emailing and texting them and stalking them until they answered me.
Then when they showed up I'd be making comments.
How can NOBODY respond out of 50?
How is it possible that there are 50 rude people and they are ALL invited to your DD's party

Oh I am. When people show up or when I see them the next time I'm always like thank you for the rsvp. It's just not me, they do it to everyone. I have a pretty huge family too. Saw my aunt yesterday and was like rsvping would have been nice as she was asking dd what she wanted. She's like you know I'm coming. Yeah, now I do.

If it's family then I assume you have their phone numbers. Call them and ask! Then stop inviting them next year. After the 1st bday party, I do kids only parties wtih the exception of my sister and BIL and grandparents.

I contact people who don't RSVP by the requested date. I don't care if it's awkward. They were rude to not respond in the first place.

How about when u invite their school friends and those parents never have the courtesy to call or text u and u don't have their contact info to harass them for their rsvps
